The closure will run from Friday, Aug. 28, to Sept. 18, 2026, with traffic diversions implemented in two phases.

According to a statement by the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the first phase will affect the outbound Isolo-to-Ejigbo section from Aug. 28 to Sept. 11.

Motorists travelling from Ejigbo toward Isolo will then be diverted onto the Ejigbo-bound carriageway from Mobil Filling Station, with traffic moving in both directions before rejoining the main carriageway at Pako Roundabout.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will be deployed to manage traffic and reduce congestion throughout the rehabilitation period.

It urged motorists to cooperate with traffic officials and exercise patience while the rehabilitation works are underway.
