The National Assembly will pass the 2023 Appropriation Bill on Thursday.
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, gave the hint at Tuesday's plenary when he read a letter transmitted to parliament from President Muhammadu Buhari on the Finance Bill 2022.
He said the Finance Bill seeks to support the implementation of the 2023 budget in the areas of tax equity; response to climate challenges, especially gas flaring; and the boosting of economic growth.
Senator Lawan mandated the Senate Committee on Finance to work on the bill and submit it during plenary on Wednesday.
