Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented a N1.69 trillion 2023 budget proposal to the Lagos State House of Assembly.

"Lagos is too strategic for us not to see it that Lagos is the wholesome of this country, that the benefits of Lagos transcend one region, one part or one scope of this country."

He noted that the 2023 budget estimate will enable his administration to continue on the path of people-centered policy making and investments to create the right environment and access to high-quality healthcare, education, and skilling opportunities.

The Governor also said the budget is being implemented in challenging economic times but his administration will work hard to stabilize and grow the economy.
