The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened its portal for candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination mop-up exercise to print their examination notification slips ahead of the test on 13th June.
The board said the slip contains vital information, including candidates’ examination centres, dates and other instructions needed for the examination.
The mop-up exercise is intended for candidates who were unable to sit the main UTME through no fault of their own.
In a statement, JAMB urged affected candidates to print their slips immediately and familiarise themselves with their examination locations before the test date.
“Affected candidates are hereby urged to print their Examination Notification Slips, familiarise themselves with their examination centres, and make all necessary arrangements ahead of the examination date,” the board said.
The examination body advised candidates not to wait until the last minute before confirming their centres, warning that early preparation would help them avoid logistical challenges on examination day.
The development comes weeks after JAMB explained delays in the printing of the 2026 UTME original result slips.
According to the board, the delay was linked to the completion of foreign examinations and preparations for the mop-up exercise.
“The printing of the 2026 UTME Original Result Slip has not yet been activated,” JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin had said.
He added that the board was preparing “to conduct the mop-up examination for candidates who were unable to sit for the main examination through no fault of theirs.”
JAMB assured candidates that all necessary arrangements had been made for a smooth conduct of the mop-up examination and urged them to comply with all examination guidelines.
